The accommodation is beautiful and very well appointed (even has a pair of binoculars to view the said bird life). Welcome pack and facilities go above and beyond expectations. Easy to follow arrival instructions and Google takes you practically to the door.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend stay at Nyhavn. The cottage has a beautiful view over the lake and is very peaceful. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including milk left in the fridge and biscuits so you can enjoy a cuppa as soon as you arrive. Our only criticism was that the TV reception is not great. There are lovely walks straight from the door and not too far to walk to the pub! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thank you Mark.

"Super location, facilities great (as relaxed or active as you want to make it). Accommodation excellent, very comfortable, all the amenities you’d need. Nice touch with a welcome pack/essentials. Host very helpful. Veranda great size, as was main bedroom. The cottage is located right near the playground/tennis courts/pool tables etc. and there is a cut through to South Cerney Outdoor (for kayaking etc) which was super handy. Will definitely stay again!"

"The location of the house by the lake was a perfect setting. Even in November the view was amazing. Just the sort of place an author would escape to, to write a book! The house and location had a New England vibe. The area around the house & lake was beautiful, with lots of easy walks. Host very helpful. I suspect if you wanted an energetic holiday with water sports, this would be easily obtained as it was close to the De Vere Hotel & lots of other lake facilities. There was a play area, table tennis hut & tennis courts available. Highly recommend. Will definitely look to book again. It was a perfect escape for mum, sister & myself to catch up & relax. We had such a great weekend."

Absolutely wonderful stay at Nyhavn Lakeside Cottage, Mark was very responsive and helpful. The cottage itself was ideal for us as a family of 3 with a toddler and a dog. Cottage set up perfectly with stair gates, travel cot and high chair. Kitchen kitted out with everything we needed. We had a fantastic time and will be going back next year. Some beautiful fish caught on the Isis lake (10m from the balcony) Shops a few minute drive away for essentials and larger stores about 15mins away. Really enjoyed our stay.

A perfect house for our family of 4 plus a dog. The location is amazing with beautiful lake views so close and within walking distance to activities and restaurants. The house has a comfortable lounge / diner and three good size bedrooms, the super king in the main bedroom is amazingly comfy. There is an added bonus of a children’s playground, tennis courts and games room very close to the house.

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters and a dog. The cottage is on a beautiful lakeside setting overlooking the lake. Perfect for walking or a relaxing break. Lots of lovely walks, water sports and some cafes nearby. The cottage is lovely, well equipped with everything you need and the outside decking is perfect for relaxing or dining. The host was very friendly. Would highly recommend a visit

"Our stay at Nyhavn Lakeside Cottage was fantastic. We were staying in the area to meet up with family. The cottage is well maintained and well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The setting within the Cotswold Water Park is tranquil and relaxing with plenty of local attractions and places of interest to visit nearby. Mark provides an excellent service, the accommodation is very clean and offers value for money."
